Travel and Housing

Loyola Marymount University (LMU) is located in Los Angeles, California, and has been named one of the top ten most beautiful campuses in America. It is located just four miles from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

The ABWH has negotiated group rates at the H Hotel and Homewood Suites-LAX. Both hotels are newly renovated with modern amenities and free 24-hour shuttle service to/from LAX.

Transportation

Van shuttle service to and from the symposium at LMU will be provided from the H Hotel and Homewood Suites-LAX. Look for signs for the ABWH shuttle in the hotel lobby. (The hotels are adjoined and share a common lobby.) If you need to return to or leave the hotel and/or campus at another time, you can call Uber, Lyft, or a local taxi company. You may also use public transportation; see schedules at socal.metrocloudalliance.com. The hotels are approximately three miles from the campus.

Parking on LMU Campus

Parking on LMU campus Friday is available hourly; an all-day parking pass is $12. Parking is free on Saturday. Visitors must access the campus via the main entrance at LMU Drive off of Lincoln Blvd. Once on campus, stop at the Public Safety Kiosk for directions and parking information.

Session Locations

Check-in and morning sessions will be held at the Life Sciences Building (LSB). Lunch and afternoon sessions will be held at St. Robert Hall (SRH). See the LMU interactive campus map for directions. The ABWH shuttle will drop off at LSB in the morning and pick up at SRH in the evening. If you need to return to or leave the hotel and/or campus at another time, you can call Uber, Lyft, or a local taxi company.
